Background
My academic journey began at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), where I completed both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees with a GPA of A. During my Master's, I spent an exchange semester at EDHEC Business School in France, broadening my perspective on international business and quantitative methods.
In 2019, I began my PhD in Management Science at NHH, focusing on optimization, operations research, and AI-driven decision systems. My research develops mathematical models and algorithms that solve complex scheduling and resource allocation problems — the kind of problems that matter in healthcare, logistics, and environmental management.
The drive to see research applied in practice led me to co-found Prefero AI in 2018, a company that uses optimization algorithms to revolutionize healthcare scheduling. In 2020, I co-founded Problemo, a platform for systematic climate problem management. Through Decide AS, I help businesses build technically excellent websites that perform.
I have published op-eds and articles in Dagens Næringsliv, Shifter, and Forskning.no, writing about technology, entrepreneurship, and the intersection of research and industry.
